Rebel Goblin Chieftain

Hi!

Heres a quick pic of the Harlequin Miniatures Goblin that I painted yesterday!

Goblin Chieftain

I still need to finish his base and in hindsight I should have sculpted it a bit to look like the high deserts of the Axeblade Mountains but its nice to actually paint a 28mm scale figure that turned out alright for a change!

I am off to paint up another now!

All the best!

  1. That is a fantastic goblin my friend! He looks nasty, tricky, and down right rotten... perfect for a goblin!

  2. Hi!

Thanks for the comments! In my version of the Leviathan setting, some of the Goblin tribes aren't slaves to the Orcs and are fighting to reclaim their homeland. To do this they work as mercenaries, bandits and pretty much anything to raise funds to arm and equip themselves to continue the fight to free their kin.

Therefore its not too surprising that they are rather unusually equipped for goblins as they have been stripping the dead for armour!

I think its about time I fleshed out their background a bit in fact!

    All the best!

  3. Love the nose here. Doesn't stand out and blends right into the figure with its different color.

  4. Too many "beverages" can do that to your nose. And I can almost visualize this Goblin with a missing tooth or two!

  6. Hi!

Thanks for the comments folks! I have just finished painting up a second, less heavily armoured goblin and will post a pic in the morning!

In the meantime I will post a bit of a background article on the Goblins of Aeroth!

    All the best!
